Answers to the most common questions. Anything else, email us and a human will reply.

How does the skin scan work?

You take one selfie in the app. After your explicit consent, the photo is sent securely to our server, analyzed once by an AI model, and the resulting cosmetic scores and routine come straight back to your device. The photo is never stored anywhere. All scores describe how your skin looks in that photo, nothing more.

How do I cancel my Dermly Pro subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, choose Dermly, and tap Cancel Subscription. Canceling stops the next renewal. Note that deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

How do I restore my purchases on a new device?

Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase, then open Dermly, go to the paywall or settings screen, and tap Restore Purchases. Your Pro access will be restored at no extra charge.

What happens to my photos?

Your selfie is used once, for the analysis you requested, and then discarded. We store no photos and no results on our servers. Results live only on your device. There are no accounts and we never sell or share your data. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.

Why do my scores change between scans?

Lighting, camera angle, distance, and even screen brightness reflected on your face all change how a photo looks, so scores can shift a few points between scans. For the most consistent tracking, scan at the same time of day, facing a window with soft daylight, holding the phone at eye level.
